V Rising 1.0

Ready to sink your teeth into it?

V Rising officially launches today on PC, leaving Early Access almost two years later as the vampire survival and crafting RPG enters version 1.0. Players take on the role of vampires who strive to conquer both the mortal world and each other through crafting, base building, and strategic survival mechanics. The update promises major additions and introduces Dracula’s fallen kingdom, Mortium – a zone where players will battle the remnants of the vampire king’s legions.

The entire game world has received updates, including reworks of old zones and new atmospheric improvements such as a new lighting engine. There are also three difficulty levels: Relaxed, Normal and Brutal. In addition, players can also look forward to learning dark sorcery and wielding new weapons such as whips and bows. They can even achieve the ability to turn into a giant spider.

V Rising also added a crossover with Castlevania, with Simon Belmont (as the enemy, of course).

Before you start playing, though, keep in mind that the developers at Stunlock Studios have also reset all the official servers. If you want to play on an old save, you have to play on the old patch. A Steam branch has been made available for those who want it… but you can’t access any new content there.
